magnetic knife holders

Here's where we keep our knives now. I came up with this design in response to a friend's request for a safe magnetic holder for his new Shen kitchen knives. I'm now selling them here on Etsy. These holders are really nice, if I do say so myself. They work beautifully, and they are in some ways responsible for initiating this whole kitchen project. After installing them, it really freed up a significant amount of counter space in our small kitchen and we rearranged parts of our counter layout. And one thing led to another... We'd been wanting to get rid of the tile counters for a long time, and do some other upgrades, and this was the trigger that made it finally happen.

Knife stays

I'm calling these magnetic holders "Knife Stays" because, that seemed like the logical thing to call them since they make your knives stay put!! I just wanted you to know that I think these are terrific and such an improvement over the traditional ones that have the magnetic strips exposed. Brilliant! So, I posted your site on my fb wall to promote your Etsy store. I would however like to suggest that you include a photo such as the one above- which shows the knife stay in use. It gives dimension, scale & life and also demonstrates use (although you'd think people would know) and the amount of weight it can handle. My niece Allison has been selling on Etsy for some time. She has sold thousands of clients all over the world. She's ALLIEcraft.
